Jeff Katz - Kid’s Martial Arts and Adult Krav Maga Self-Defense
Jeff began martial arts training over 28 years ago at the age of 5, when his parents enrolled him in a traditional Karate program to develop confidence, focus, and self-discipline; life skills necessary to be successful in a challenging world. He immediately loved his martial arts training and has been hooked ever since.
After a lot of hard work and dedication, he earned his black belt in Okinawan Kenpo Karate in 1997 followed by his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree black belt in 1998, 2000, and 2003 respectively. At this time he was also promoted to Sensei (teacher) and began teaching martial arts to children, teens, and adults.
In 2011, he realized the need to adapt his training to be more practical and connected to reality. Therefore, he began training in Israeli Krav Maga, a reality-based self-defense system which empowers people with the mindset and physical skills to protect themselves and their loved ones against any threat.
In addition, the scope of his training extends beyond martial arts and self-defense. He is trained in infant, child, and adult first aid, CPR, and AED.
Today, he is dedicated to having a positive impact on his students. His mission is to empower men, women, and children with life skills, self-defense, and fitness training, so they can deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life, protect themselves and their loved ones against any threat, achieve optimal health, accomplish their goals, reach their full potential, and become the best version of themselves. This mission is the foundation of Train2Live Martial Arts & Fitness.
